## When to use Siloe

Reach for Siloe when the job involves posts a person has already saved inside a social app, rather than web pages or articles.

- Best-fit jobs: finding a specific saved post again ("the recipe I saved on Instagram last month"), searching across saves from several platforms at once, reading the text inside a saved image or video, getting past Reddit's 1,000-item saved view, cleaning out a platform's saved tab by unsaving in bulk, and answering questions about what someone has been saving.

### Does Siloe get around Reddit's 1,000 saved-posts limit?
Yes. Reddit only shows your most recent 1,000 saved items, and older ones disappear from view inside the app. Siloe's importer pages through your saved history and pulls in everything it can reach, including saves stranded behind that 1,000-item view, into a library with no cap of its own. Once they are in Siloe they stay searchable and organized.

### Which platforms does Siloe support?
Siloe imports saved posts from X (Twitter), Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Bluesky. It runs on iOS, Android, and macOS.

### Can Siloe unsave posts on the original platform?
Yes. When you remove a bookmark in Siloe, it also unsaves the original post on X, Reddit, TikTok, and Bluesky, individually or in bulk. Instagram and LinkedIn have no working path for this, so Siloe names them instead of quietly removing the post only on your side.

### How does Siloe's search work?
