TL;DR
- If you create it locally, you own it. If you imported it, ownership remains with the platform it came from.
- You can connect social accounts to easily fetch your saves. We respect your device credentials and you can disconnect anytime.
- Siloe Pro is beautifully straightforward, billed cleanly through Apple or Google.
- We do our best to maintain platform connections, but we rely on third-party services that occasionally change their rules.
1. Acceptance & Eligibility
Welcome to Siloe! By using our app, you agree to these friendly terms. You must be at least 13 years old to jump in. Siloe is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
2. The Service
Siloe is a seamless bookmarking, organization, and search app that brings together content from around the web. Features, availability, and supported platforms might evolve as we keep building and improving the product for you.
3. Acceptable Use
Please use Siloe responsibly and respect the broader internet community. We simply ask that you don't use the service for illegal activities, distributing harmful content, or maliciously scraping other platforms beyond their intended access.
4. Your Content and Imported Content
You maintain full ownership of the notes, collections, and custom data you build inside Siloe.
Content that you import from third-party platforms remains subject to those platforms’ rules and the original creators. Your social integrations are a convenience securely managed by your device.
5. AI Features
Some features inside Siloe use smart, automated logic to help you categorize or resurface content effortlessly. These are helpful tools designed for convenience, but keep in mind that automated outcomes might sometimes be pleasantly imperfect.
6. Subscriptions and Paid Features
Siloe offers a free tier alongside an upgraded Pro tier. Billing, cancellations, and renewals are handled safely and entirely through Apple’s App Store or Google Play.
7. Service Availability
We do our absolute best to provide a flawless experience. However, because we integrate with a variety of external platforms, their APIs and systems might occasionally update, causing certain features or imports to temporarily fluctuate. We appreciate your patience while we adapt!
8. Termination & Disclaimers
You're always free to stop using Siloe at any time. We reserve the right to respectfully suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our community guidelines.
Siloe is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Made by Elio’s liability will be limited. These Terms are governed under California law.
