1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Siloe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.
2. Eligibility
You must be 13 years or older to use this Service. Siloe is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. By using Siloe, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you are a human; accounts registered by "bots" or other automated methods are not permitted.
3. Account Terms
- You must provide your username (aka nickname) and a valid email address in order to complete the signup process.
- Your login may only be used by one person—a single login shared by multiple people is not permitted. You may create separate logins.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
- You are responsible for all Content posted and activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright or trademark laws). You shall not maliciously scrape other platforms beyond their intended access, distribute harmful content, or interfere with the proper working of the Service.
5. Content and Ownership
We claim no intellectual property rights over the material you provide to the Service. The notes, collections, and custom data you build inside Siloe remain yours. However, by using the Service, you grant us a license to host, store, and display your content to provide you the Service.
Content that you import from third-party platforms remains subject to those platforms’ rules and the original creators. Your social integrations are a convenience securely managed by your device.
6. AI Features
Some features inside Siloe use smart, automated logic to help you categorize or resurface content effortlessly. These are tools designed for convenience, but automated outcomes might sometimes be imperfect. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated categorizations.
7. Subscriptions and Billing
Siloe offers a free tier alongside an upgraded Pro tier. Billing, cancellations, and renewals are handled safely and entirely through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. By choosing a recurring payment plan, you acknowledge that such services have an initial and recurring payment feature, and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation.
8. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms of Service at any time, with or without prior notice to you. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
9. Termination
You are free to stop using Siloe at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service for any reason at any time, particularly if you violate these Terms or our community guidelines.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Siloe is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranty or condition, express, implied, or statutory. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Made by Elio and its directors, employees, or partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
